In SAS^® Enterprise Miner™, the results from the HP Forest node might be incorrect. The problem occurs when running in a non-distributed environment (SMP mode). The score code that is used to generate the predicted values, and thus the associated fit statistics and tables, might be incorrect.

There are no errors or warnings to indicate a problem.

The problem does not occur when running the HP Forest node in a distributed environment (MPP mode).

To work around the problem, use MPP mode by changing the HPDM_NTHREADS property value to 1. Follow these steps.

1. Click the project name in the project panel (upper left corner of the user interface).
2. Click the Project Macro Variables property in the properties panel (middle left).
3. Change the HPDM_NTHREADS value to 1.
4. Delete add a new HP Forest node to the diagram, and run the new node.
